More and more people are turning to environmentally friendly (green) products or alternative methods for keeping their homes clean. After all these years of thinking we were actually doing well by purchasing the commercial cleaners we discovered that we actually were exposing our homes and families to toxic and harmful chemicals. Each time we used these cleaning products on our counter tops and in are bathrooms we were exposing ourselves to danger. We might as well let the mold and mildew grow there for all the good we were doing.
Thank goodness more companies are now giving consideration and providing environmentally safe green products for us to use for cleaning. But have you ever thought about the fact that we can make these ourselves with simple products we probably already have in our homes? Just open your kitchen cabinets or pantry and take a look.
You’ll probably see one right away and never have really given much to thought to it being used as a cleaner, except for your coffee maker anyway.

Do you want to know how to clean your house well using effective non-toxic cleaning products that will cost you less than $50 a year? This article tells you how to make your own safe and effective cleaning products that smell great and won’t dry out your skin or stain your clothing. Eco Friendly Cleaning Products

Eco friendly cleaning products should not pollute the environment in any way and also help keep your home clean as a whistle. Our homes are overloaded with toxic chemicals, more then we would like to believe, why add more to chemicals to our home when there are perfectly good eco friendly cleaning products that have proven to be as effective as any commercial, chemical based products? For one I think it’s just easier to buy cleaning products off the shelves, more convenient, and two we don’t have time to make our own natural cleaning products. Organic Cleaning Products

Organic cleaning products should be considered to replace your commercial cleaning products. I used commercial cleaning products my entire life but my friend suggested to me that I should look into more natural, organic cleaning products. Eco Friendly Cleaning

Housework it seems is never done and often it is all too easy to resort to harsh chemicals and energy guzzling appliances to get our chores done. These shortcuts can save us bags of time but quite often they have a negative effect on the environment. That’s right, white distilled vinegar is a wonderful general all around cleaner. It’s naturally acidic and can be used for such things as removing dirt and grime from most of your household surfaces. Remember though to never use it on marble. The acid will damage a marble surface.
Possibly the only rival to white vinegar would be baking soda. Baking soda can be used to clean, deodorize, as a polish and stain remover. As well as even softening fabrics.
Salt is another great abrasive for cleaning such things as pots and pans. Mix equal parts of lemon juice, vinegar and water for a de-clogging solution for your drains.
Club soda can be used to remove stains on clothing as well as some furniture upholstery.
Mineral oil can be used for furniture polish and cornstarch can be used to shampoo carpets.
These are but a few choices of environmentally friendly (green) household cleaning products you probably already have on hand. So if you want to go “Green” you don’t have to spend a ton of money to do it.

In today’s marketplace, Green Living Homes have taken on a different connotation and seem to inspire different emotions as well. In these economic times, it seems that you can’t do Green Living Homes without some sort of a major overhaul of your home , or so it seems. When a new administration enters the White House, somebody or some group seems to think they may have a voice. In America, the Green lovers are of the mindset that the next President will be so for them.

Granted, I am not coming at you from an environmentalist mindset. In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. I am of the mindset that a lot of the Green thinking borders on the “Guilt” aspect that characterizes you as bad if you aren’t Green for some reason.

Quite honestly, the Green movement can be a bit radical in its propagation of their overall message and, from a design standpoint, the lens that I often gage things, the materials have not been there to justify a Green Living Home. That has begun to change with some great new design materials that has started to spark the interest of the design community, and, more importantly, become more reasonable from a price standpoint.

Now, here are some things you can do to be more Green just by making changes in the things you do everyday and in future design changes that you may be making in your home.

First, if you are about to do an Interior Design change, look at your electrical systems. There can be a tremendous waste in your electrical output systems. Even if you are not doing Interior Design changes , walk around your home and see it there are ways you can reduce some of you electrical waste. If you just did some minor changes in the way you used your electricity by making sure appliances are turned off when not in use, etc, you could probably realize a 6% to 20 % difference in you bill each month a recent study showed.

From a Design standpoint, it goes without saying to spend the extra money for the energy efficient appliances. An option that is not as difficult to do these days, but still needs to be thoughtfully considered.

There are some simple changes from a lighting standpoint by changing out some of the bulbs that are claiming to be more efficient. I am not talking about going crazy and just start changing them out, but when you need to make a change, do so then.

Also look at you filters in heating and air conditioning units. My Dad was a heating and air guy for years and was always shocked as to how people just wouldn’t take the time to change the filters which would cause countless dollars in repair bills yearly. There are some pretty decent filtration systems, but are still a little pricey compared to regular ole filters.

Finally, from a Kitchen Design standpoint, Bamboo and cork flooring should be considered in Interior Design, as they are dynamic looking. Kitchen cabinets can also be redone with similar alternatives to wood which can like just like exotic woods.

There are some great looking Metal and Stone alternatives which are also good for Kitchen counters and cabinets and a great product, IceStone, one brand of recycled glass used to create countertops for kitchens and bathrooms that generally ranges between $100 and $150 a square foot.

The point is that there is finally coming into the market place a great plethora of products that are Green focused to design and live in your Green house. With the changes you can make from a Design standpoint and just the changes you do by walking around the house, you can be Green. Just don’t let it be out of guilt.

It’s kind of like when I used to eat Twinkies that I loved so much and said that sooner or later there would be a low-fat version, and I was right.

Its the same with going Green. They’ll catch up.

There is a multitude of appliances and tools in the average kitchen that can make daily household tasks a lot easier, but not all of them work efficiently, which means that the kitchen can be one of the most energy wasteful areas of the home.
The kettle, is a good example. Many of us may turn out kettles on four or five times an evening, often boiling far more water than is necessary. All the extra power required to boil this unnecessary water is being wasted. And while this does not amount to very much, the accumulative effect of millions of kettles being over-filled produces tonnes of extra CO2 into the atmosphere each year.
An eco kettle gets over these problems by only boiling the required water.

It is a lot easier than you might think. If you make gradual adjustments to your lifestyle, you will barely notice the change. All you have to do is be more aware of how small changes can make a big difference.
Consider the environmental impact of the lifecycle of an item.

What is it made of? Are these materials natural and renewable? Or are they toxic and from a finite source?
How is it made? Does the process cause unnecessarily high levels of pollution? Is it tested on animals? Does the company do something to help reduce its environmental impact?
How is it used? Is it disposable? Is it energy efficient? Does it produce less waste?
How do you get rid of it? Is it recyclable? Is it biodegradable? Or is it harmful to the environment?

Keeping these thoughts in mind when you buy something will tell you whether or not they are eco friendly products.
Examples of Eco Friendly Products

Rechargeable Batteries: Everybody has some type of battery operated device.
Related Coverage
Eco Friendly Paper Products For The Home

Want to help save some resources in your own home? Looking for a way to go green and save some money too? Find out how you can switch to recycled paper products for your household use and save some of our disappearing native forest at the same time. Why You Should Choose Eco-Friendly Hair Care Products

Have you ever read the ingredients found on the back of your favorite shampoo or hair conditioner? It may shock you to learn exactly what chemicals some of these products contain that you’re putting on your hair daily. Go Green With Eco Friendly Toys

People often wonder how they can involve their children in their efforts to go green. The best way to do this is by buying eco friendly toys, while explaining the importance of going green to the kids. This way, they can benefit from eco friendly products while learning a thing or two about sustainable living at the same time. How Eco Friendly Products Can Make Me Healthier

What is an eco friendly product? A very good example of that is a simple plastic bag. Stores no longer give you a plastic bag when you buy their goods – instead they offer bags which they term ‘green’. But did you that eco friendly products can make you healthier?Turn them into more eco friendly products by using rechargeable batteries. They may seem expensive at first, but considering that they are reusable hundreds of times, they will save you a lot of money in the long run. They have an added bonus of reducing landfill toxins.

Tankless Water Heaters: They don’t waste energy keeping your water hot. They heat the water as it’s needed, and are about 90-100% efficient, depending on the model. They’re eco friendly products with the added bonus of saving you money.

Digital Thermostat: They’re available with timers and are programmable.
That means you can reduce your heating or air conditioning while no one is home or while you are sleeping and save a lot of money. Simply adjusting your thermostat a couple of degrees can save you money, and help the planet. It averages to 3% of your bill per degree of adjustment.

Geothermal Heat Pump: One of the more attractive eco friendly products, they can keep your house at a constant temperature and will heat your water, all using the natural heat of the earth. They aren’t cheap, but once they are installed they will save you a bunch of money, operating almost without cost, and reduce your impact on the earth.

Solar and Wind Power: Due to increasing levels of awareness, they are becoming more cost effective, efficient and available. You can get solar or wind power for your home, but also for charging small electronics now.

Cleaning Supplies: Believe it or not, you don’t need harsh chemicals to clean most things around your home. In fact, it has been recently proven that antibacterial products are bad for you and the environment. Changing to more eco friendly products is a simple and healthy way to go green.

Furniture: You may not think to go green with your furniture, but it’s available now, usually items made from renewable resources or recycled materials.

Apparel: Natural and organic renewable fibers instead of petroleum based synthetics are becoming more popular, and just feel better. Think of them as the stylish version of eco friendly products.

Efficient Lighting: While compact fluorescent lighting saves money, they do contain mercury, which means they have to be disposed of properly. On the plus side, they will outlast several incandescent bulbs and use far less energy. LED lights are truly eco friendly products, lasting decades and using little energy, but are more expensive initially.

No more excuses. It’s becoming easier every day to go green with the widespread availability and development of eco friendly products.

That’s what the ruling families have manifested for themselves while the rest of the world struggles with poverty, disease, drug dependency, debt and servitude. The ultimate goal of the ruling families is not only one world government. It is complete mastery over the 3rd dimension of time and space. Notice how successful they have been at manifesting a Utopian 3rd dimension for themselves – money, yachts, private jets, castles, resorts, racehorses, corporations, gold, gems, servants and everything they desire. You are part of their manifestation. You and the rest of the world are literally at their feet. How did they do it? With their knowledge of the tools of Creation and Universal Laws.
Unless you understand how reality is manifested, your destiny and the destiny of the planet will be in the hands of the ruling families who do understand it.

It is no doubt that the numbers of old Americans in nursing homes and long term care facilities has experienced a staggering increase, which is over 1.6 million. Adding to this figure is approximately one quarter of the total U.S. population which have access to checking services into one of these facilities. A Higher Standard?

In this day and age of unoriginality, the author asks whether it is time for us to actually live our lives for ourselves rather than for our parents and ancestors dreams and expectations. With the divorce rate as high as it is, with depression as prevalent as ever and dissatisfaction at an all time high, perhaps there is another way to live, a way to achieve a higher standard by thinking about the consequences of our actions. If you think your life is miserable or great, you are right. Life is whatever you think it is. The same is true for the state of the world. It is what humanity collectively thinks it is. Energy and all forms of matter attract like-vibrational energy. Our thoughts are energy magnets. They attract whatever we point them at.
Your thoughts are living things. When you step into a room full of people, you can sense the living atmosphere created by the collective thought waves of the people in the room. You may sense a calm or a tense atmosphere. The collective thought waves of the 6.5 billion people on Planet Earth also create an atmosphere and it affects everyone either consciously or unconsciously. Like the Borg in Star Trek, you can tune into this “collective consciousness” and broadcast ideas to others who will receive and act on them. You are a drop in the ocean of thought and the ocean of thought is in every drop.
The Universal Law of Attraction is working in your life right now. You are attracting the personal situations that you are experiencing. You are also attracting the global situations through your individual contribution to the collective mass consciousness. Think about what you are contributing. Once you are aware of this Universal Law and how it works, you can start to use it deliberately to attract what you want instead of what you don’t want.
Any thought you have, when combined with emotion, vibrates out from you to the universe. Like a boomerang, it returns whatever you focus on. All you have to do is allow yourself to expect what you want. Sounds easy, right? The hard part is becoming ‘doubt-free’. You must expect what you want without doubt, act like you already have it and be grateful for it. Like drops in the ocean, each and every person is individually responsible for their contribution to mass consciousness. By expecting a New World Order, an Antichrist, an Apocalypse and end times, your contribution to the collective consciousness is “dark”. Expect miracles. Expect a Golden Age.
When you assume 100% responsibility for everything you’re experiencing in your reality right now – absolutely everything – only then will you possess the power to alter your reality.
DECEMBER 12, 2012
The ruling families are in a race with time to manifest mastery over the third dimension…but something is happening “right now” that they hadn’t counted on. There is a transformation in human consciousness leading up to December 21, 2012. A ‘galactic alignment’ is expected to occur on that date which will mark the end of the 26,000-year Mayan calendar. Mayan timekeepers predict that Earth and humanity are being birthed into a dramatic and unified elevation in consciousness.
CHANGING YOUR BELIEFS
You are made up of billions and billions of “programmed” beliefs about what is real and what’s not real, what you should or shouldn’t be or wear or say or do. You have downloaded beliefs about how attractive you are, about your body, your intelligence, about God, sin, life after death, morality and class. You have been innundated with disaster scenarios about the future of humanity – a global depression, an apocalypse, Armageddon, end times, depopulation, nuclear war, an Antichrist ruler and other disempowering, fear mongering, toxic propoganda.
If you stop and look closely at your thoughts and beliefs, you will discover that instead of serving you, they serve the agenda of the ruling families. Although you may feel you are immune to religious and political propaganda, your immunity is overpowered by the repetition of messages that burrow into your subconscious just below your conscious radar.
The ruling families have taught you slave consciousness. You tick tock through life with alarm clocks, car clocks, work clocks, the TV clock, the cell phone clock, wrist watches, wall clocks and calendars. It’s “breakfast time”, “lunch hour”, “break time”, “traffic hour”, “news hour”, “happy hour”, “week end”, “dinner time”, “bed time”, “tax time. You sit in traffic, stand in line-ups, watch mind numbing TV trivia interrupted by endless commercials. You settle for a 14 day holiday out of the 365 days it takes for the Earth to circle the Sun. You trade your labor for digits at the bank. You celebrate birthdays, New Years, Valentine’s day, St. Patrick’s Day and countless other repetitive cycles of commercialized nonsense. From cradle to grave, you obediently tick-tock through life like an automaton, serving the ruling families. Despite the servitude, they have somehow convinced you that you are free. “None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free.” – Goethe
YOUR PSYCHIC POWERS
You have the power to influence matter and the physical world with just the power of your thoughts. It’s called ‘telekinesis’. YOU WERE BORN WITH THAT POWER. All you have to do is awaken your pineal gland or “third eye”. Like an atrophied muscle, this unused part of your brain can be strengthened through exercise and by eliminating fluoride from your toothpaste and water supply. Telekinesis is the same mind-over-matter power that the ruling families have been using since ancient times to manifest their power over you and over the physical world. How do you think the stone tonnage of Egypt’s Great Pyramids was cut, carved, moved long distances, erected and positioned within fractions of an inch? Some of the stones weighed as much as 50 tons! Do you believe the media tales about how these Herculean stones were moved without drills, explosives, lasers, forklifts, cranes or steel cables?
The term ‘psychic powers’ conjures up negative images of black magic, gypsies, witchcraft, exorcists, faith healing hoaxes and sorcery. That is the reputation the corporate media has given it. Why? To discourage your interest in developing your personal power. Like any skill, your psychic powers develop with regular use and they atrophy from lack of use.
In their book, China’s Super Psychics, Paul Dong and Thomas Raffill describe the amazing psychic abilities of gifted children. The American magazine Omni got involved when the children were being tested to make sure there was no cheating. They quickly became convinced that the children’s abilities were entirely real. In one case, a child took a sealed pill bottle off a shelf at random and placed it on a table. After a few moments the pills passed through the glass bottle and settled on the table. The child then placed a coin on the table and it passed back through the glass into the sealed bottle. In another case, a thousand people sitting in an auditorium were each given a rose bud to hold. A six year old girl came on stage and with a silent wave of her hand, the thousand rosebuds slowly opened into full bloom before the eyes of the astonished audience.
By practicing concentration exercises and telekinesis, you can learn the mechanics of manifestation. Once you discover that you can move an object with the power of your thoughts, you realize that you can influence matter at a molecular level. You have the power to influence everything in the physical world from a molecule to the entire globe with just the power of your thoughts. You have the power to heal yourself and the Earth. It starts with the belief that you can do it and then actually “doing it”! Learn how to manifest the reality you want instead of the reality that the ruling families are manifesting for you.

Carbolic acid was one of the first products to be used as a carpet cleaner, and even more recently cleaners including bleach or ammonia have been used, both of which are noted for killing germs, but which can pose severe hazards to the health of those around them.
With increasing focus on the environment and phrases such as go green, and reduce your carbon footprint in common use, more and more companies are looking to Eco friendly solutions which will be effective to use yet have low impact on the environment.
The increasing level of hazardous substances in our day-to-day environment is just one of the reasons why environmentally friendly cleaning products are well worth considering.

Eco Friendly House Cleaning Products

If you want to go “Green” with your household cleaning products, you don’t have to spend a ton of money to do it. You might find if you look in your kitchen cupboards that most of Eco cleaning products are already on hand! Cheap, Simple and Eco-Friendly Homemade Cleaning Products

Do you want to know how to clean your house well using effective non-toxic cleaning products that will cost you less than $50 a year? This article tells you how to make your own safe and effective cleaning products that smell great and won’t dry out your skin or stain your clothing. A Clean House – The Eco Friendly Way

Choosing eco-friendly house cleaning products ensures a home with clean air. Living in a non-toxic home goes a long way by improving the environment and bringing the homeowner peace of mind. As global warming continues to be a major concern, people are starting to turn to eco-friendly practices to help save the environment for future generations. Below I have listed a few eco-friendly ways to a cleaner home. When we use ordinary carpet cleaner, we recognize that we are removing harmful dust and contaminants from our floors, but these cleaning products also contain chemicals which can be harmful to children and pets, as well as the environment yet one more reason to clean green.
Eco-friendly cleaning products make use of non toxic chemicals which can be found in regular food ingredients and other general household products such as toothpaste. This may sound unusual, but when you consider how many ordinary household ingredients are still used as cleaning products (Bicarbonate of soda, for example, lemon juice, or salt), it makes sense that if they are safe for the environment while still being effective, that they should be used.
One example of Eco friendly carpet cleaner uses a solution which is sprayed onto the carpet, worked into the fibres using a brush machine, and then rinsed with a solution mostly composed of water, which lifts the dirt from the fibres.
The solution also contains a small amount of surfactant and a PH balancer.
These water based cleaning solutions can provide a method of carpet cleaner which is safe to use for children and pets as well as the environment, and which still contain antibacterial agents. Even steam cleaning processes using the minimal amount of ingredients have antibacterial qualities.
Attitudes to Eco-friendly cleaning products are changing too. Where previously an environmentally friendly cleaning product might be considered weaker than its chemical filled counterpart, or less able to have an antibacterial effect, or less effective simply because it does not smell of bleach, eco-friendly cleaning products are now becoming more and more effective at doing the job they are supposed to do, at minimal risk to others.
Twenty or thirty years ago, some of the compounds used in cleaning products which are used today were the only things available. But, by taking into account that some of these ingredients were environmentally friendly, and by becoming more informed about eco-friendly cleaning, something as simple as carpet cleanercan be of benefit to the health of the environment and of those who inhabit it.

If you’re concerned about the environment and would like to reduce your carbon footprint, it’s essential that you start making changes to your lifestyle. But you don’t necessarily have to live in a cave with no electricity and bike 60 miles to work every day to create change. These 5 green living tips are simple, require little effort, and can be implemented right away.
1. Switch to compact fluorescent light bulbs
Compact fluorescent light bulbs use 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs and they last ten times longer. Not only will you reduce your electricity use and greenhouse gas emission by switching to compact fluorescent bulbs, you’ll also save 30% on your energy bill.
2. Keep your car well-maintained
If possible, stop driving to work altogether and bike, carpool, walk, or take mass transit to get to work. If you absolutely need your car to commute, however, just make sure that it’s well-maintained. By changing your car’s oil and air filters on a regular basis and keeping your tires properly inflated, you will dramatically improve your vehicle’s fuel efficiency so that it burns less fuel on your commutes.
3. Wash clothes in cold water and hang dry them
Use cold water to wash clothes and hang dry them outside to save electricity. Hang drying clothes outside also helps your clothes last longer because it doesn’t cause fading and shrinking like dryers do.
4. Buy used products
Buying new products is a green living no-no because of the energy required to manufacture and ship new products. Anytime you need to buy something, whether it’s a couch, bicycle, or computer, buy it used. Good places to find used products include thrift stores, newspaper classifieds, online classifieds, and yard sales. In addition to its environmental benefits, buying used also saves you a significant amount of money.
5. Buy local food products
Buy food that has been produced locally and avoid imported products. Greenhouse gases are emitted to ship foods to faraway places, so buy local when possible.
Sometimes it can feel like we are spinning around on a hamster wheel getting no where while working too many hours to get to this endless destination.
When you invest 15 minutes of planning each morning you will increase your productivity through focus and intention. Want to really ramp up your results? Plan your day just before bed and let your unconscious mind get a jump start checking off the items on your to do list.
When you give your mind items to complete, it gets busy looking for ways to bring you what you want. Sitting in quiet contemplation will sooth the nervous energy that comes from our societies tendency toward over stimulation and help your deep desires and the most efficient path form in your conscious mind. If you want to be super productive pull out all the stops and address your projects and intentions by engaging all of your senses.

Being a small business owner myself, I’ve discovered the true meaning of marketing and promoting your products and service. Almost every business needs to get the word spread about what they offer. You could offer the best widget in the world but if no one knows about it, you won’t sell too many.
Finance & Investment, Home Business With rising energy prices and scarcity of fossil fuels, energy companies and other industries are increasingly focusing on improving energy efficiency in Britain’s homes. Reducing your carbon footprint doesn’t have to involve expensive investment in new technologies, as many of the most essential steps you can take to minimise your energy usage can be as simple as flicking a switch. Going green in your home is about more than just conserving the environment; with a more energy efficient property, you could enjoy huge savings on your energy bills too[N1]. Every room in your home… Fair Trade Clothing For The Conscious Consumer

Fair trade products offer an affordable, high quality alternative to mass-produced items for the conscious consumer. Purchasing fair trade products directly supports a more equitable international trading system, and provides numerous benefits to both the producers and the consumers.See what you want to create already in existence. Picture the project completed, or picture a symbol that represent the result you are seeking. You can create a physical vision board or hold a picture in your mind.
2. Hear the sounds around you after the project is complete. When launching a TeleSeminar, Workshop or Retreat, I hear the buzz of my participants and the excitement in their voices from what they have learned. What does your environment sound like once your desired result is reality?
3. Smell the aromas that surround your project once it’s complete. What season is it? Do you smell fresh picked raspberries of summer, apple pie of fall, or maybe the lilacs of early spring.
Perhaps it is the scent of a conference room after a big event.
4. Taste the experience. What will you be feeding your body? Taste the water you will drink, the celebration champagne, the tea you will sip, or the gum you will chew.
5. Feel the feeling of this projects completion. Where are you, are you seated in a comfy chair? Is someone hugging you? Are you jumping in joy? Maybe you feel relief. Let your heart open up and express the joy that you will experience once the event is complete. Of all the sense feeling the experience of felling in advance is the most powerful.
This simple process will help create the experience in advance and engage your unconscious mind to get busy making it happen. Engage your senses and then craft your action steps. Remember to use your core values as a filter for action. You can read more about defining your core values in my last post. You will evoke a powerful source to support you in choosing the best course of action. Now it’s time to get busy with the action plan. Ask powerful questions of yourself. Looking to the future for your answers. I ask myself, “What would a joyful, empowering, philanthropic entrepreneur do now?” What is our question based on who you are becoming? You will find that powerful questions based on the future combined with 5 minutes of evoking your senses will increase your clarity and help you choose the most effective steps to take to reach your projects completion.

As well as the harm to the environment, there are issues with the economy, which create the requirement for green living tips that may also save the consumer money.
The excellent news is that it’s completely straightforward to do. In truth, done properly it’s hard not to save money while helping the planet recover. So, here are seven straightforward green living tips that will also save you cash.
1. The 1st green living tip is to lower your winter heating by at least one degree. If you can stand two or 3 degrees lower, then all the better. You will reduce power use and still feel comfortable. Then in summer, let the aircon chill the house less. That’s a excellent start in how to go green.
two. Set your washer to wash garments in cold water. Modern cleaning powders do not need hot water, and heating the water is what consumes the majority of the energy the washing machine uses.
3. Don’t use the dryer to dry your clothes! That is not the simplest way to go green. It uses way too much energy and it’s costly too. Hang your garments out to dry. The air is great at drying garments – your grandmama could have told you that.
four. Compact fluorescent light ( CFL ) bulbs use ten percent of the electricity a standard bulb desires and they last ten times longer. So, change your light bulbs. And if you want to learn how to go green in a bigger way with lights, take a look at the new LED bulbs. They can be twice as efficient as the CFL bulbs.
5. Reduce water use. Check all taps for leaks and fix any you find. Take shorter showers, don’t bath, and consider getting a new toilet cistern that may use less than two gallons of water per flush. Standard cisterns use some three and a half gallons. Using less water uses less energy and saves you money!
six. Walk rather than drive for very short trips. Use a cycle for moderate trips, and only use the car if you really have to. Gas is dear and it pollutes the atmosphere. Save on burning it and you may save on your cash too, as well as help the environment.
7. When you have to drive, keep your speed down to around fifty five miles an hour if at all possible. Your auto’s engine will be running at its most efficient at that speed burning the minimum quantity of gas. Practice driving smoothly as well . Don’t accelerate fast from a standing start, and don’t brake hard. This is the best way to go green with your vehicle, though using public transport, walking and cycling is even better.
